I Am

Once upon a time I fell off God’s rusty apple cart in the sky.  The next thing I know I was plummeting through the vast, star strewn reaches of inner space until I finally landed with a psychedelic thud here on planet earth.   I think I got a pretty severe case of amnesia from the fall, because I seem to have forgotten the love that made me, that made US.  Now I am a champion rat, running a frantic race to a finish line that seems close enough, but it keeps moving and shimmying, much like a desert mirage.

Oh silly girl, tell the people who you REALLY are… Ahem.  Hi.  I’m Athena Grace.  I am trying to cram myself into a few sentances, but I think I’ll need to go on some kind of crash diet first.  I feel like I’m trying to raise an impossible zipper as my fat and skin relentlessly squish out the sides.  What can I say about “me”?

Writing is ecstasy for me.  I am endlessly fascinated by people.  Why are we the way we are?  Where did we come from?  Where are we going?  Why are we all so afraid?  How did this strange world come to be?  Is it really “but a dream”?  I love bird song.  I love ocean.  I love sex.  I love waking up in the middle of the night to the sound of rain.   I love crunchy chips.

I am a saint in training.  Writing is just my day job.  I am a student of A Course In Miracles, and I have to say it’s the coolest thing EVER!!!  It’s a course designed to guide peeps back to the light inside.  I’m ready!  All aboard!!!  This train is bound for GLORY!

I invite you to read my words and find yourself.   I invite you to read my words, and remember not to take life so seriously.  I invite you to read my words and LAUGH.  CRY.  Open your heart.  Remember.  Celebrate.  Please, go heavy on the celebrating.  Celebrate those parts of yourself that you used to judge and condemn.   And celebrate too, those facets of others.  Read my words and see the world as your teacher.  See every single human being who blesses your path as a teacher.  Read my words and know that you can NEVER fall off your path.  Read my words and know that the journey you are on is already perfect, and could not be anything else.

Overflowing Blessings to YOU!!!

LOVE and a Holy Amen,

Athena Grace

The wise goddess inside you arises as you speak and the child within me resonates to the words you share.

You go, you saint in training! That’s what we all are. I wish I was this creative with my introductions. This morning, I told my hubs that I don’t want to wear my bathing suit to the pool this week-as I have put on some weight-and now-I’ve got a muffin top over my bottoms. And he said, “At least you’ll be in style.” How mean is that? Your squish comment reminded me of our morning discussion. LOL! Have a good Sunday!

Think = True human inquire natural kindness

INK = Idea notions knowledge .

SINK = Speak innovations nature kinship

LINK = Love illuminate now kingdom

All “creative arts” which include “writing”,”poetry”,”singing” “painting”,”photography”,and various” sports” ,and “hobbies “like “gardening”, “cooking “are like various paths and worship of works are prayers to bring subjective and objective together for creative enlightenment.
An enlightened master is one aware of this dimension of eternal happiness while living .
Children are real enlightened masters ignorant about this fact while playing.
Ignorance of this is blissfulness…..be that way..divine Athena…….

Your writing rocks and your truth and beauty are just spilling out all over the place! Dang, Girl! Didn’t we once work together at an ancient temple in Atlantis or Lemuria?????? Great to see the Always-Divine RamOSinghal here, too.

I wanted to find you *today*, Athena, and thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to hear my “yucky” thoughts and transform them into poetry/prayer. I loved watching the courage with which you approached our conversation…and the blank page.

I loved that you read your creation to me so that it was more than art. It was a personal gift, and that is how I received it. You could not have known how much your words encompassed truth that never left my lips.

A week ago, I asked myself to write down the most minute form of my own quest that I could express. It was simply: “to be free”. How enchanted I was when you ended your poem–my poem–with the words:

    “…and be free

If I wasn’t so big and tough (in front of my son at least), I might have choked up a little. 😉 Thank you for inspiring me, Athena.

As my son and I left, he said to me: “She might be one of those people…that come when you need them and you never see them again. Sometimes God sends them like that…”

He never talks that way…and he couldn’t have known I was thinking the same thing. Even if he’s right, there will always be a connection of gratitude, so we can never truly be strangers again.

Are you KIDDING me? Who knew you were so deep? I guess it’s just like A Course In Miracles says~ I AM AMONG THE MINISTERS OF GOD! I really am. People seem like just people (and they ARE) but then they never cease to blow me away with their profound depth and beauty. Yes, Darrell, it is so mutual. I love the way you have shared your heart here on the comment page! Holy Jesus! Thank you for choosing to share your heart in this public forum. You have touched many. No. We will never be strangers again, that’s for sure.
Much Love to You, Friend! (And fellow Minister),
      Athena Grace
